When Season 2’s new character, Emma Frost, dropped, she changed the whole game. Diamond form. Psionic seduction. Award-worthy jiggle physics. She instantly became one of the most popular characters in the game—and not just for her win rate.
But can we talk about the choke slam?
Emma lunges forward, grabs you by the throat, lifts you off the ground, and slams you down like she’s snapping a twig—and suddenly we’re all into rough play. The move cemented her as the quintessential dom top of Rivals, and her thighs have been a distraction in the Hero Select screen ever since.
Still, Emma’s not the only thirst trap on the roster.
So who else in Marvel Rivals would I let grab me by the throat and yeet me into next Tuesday?

#5 Venom 🔥
Venom is built like the guy at a warehouse party who lifts a car for fun. Shoulders the size of small nations. Veins like exposed cables. That twerking emote lives rent-free in all our minds. If he choke slammed me, I’d probably thank him and then ask to join the hive mind.
#4 Human Torch 🔥🔥
Johnny’s hot—that’s literally his thing. His costume is so tight it’s technically an HR violation. I get so distracted mid-match I’ve cast fireballs at my own spawn point more than once. I’d let Johnny choke slam me, but we’re putting “Flame on!” on pause until afterwards. Safety first.
#3 Magik 🔥🔥🔥
Whether she’s dive-bombing your healers from Limbo or giving Krakoan military orders like a Russian drill sergeant, Illyana owns every room she’s in. She doesn’t even need a choke slam in her kit—I fully believe she’s done it off-screen. And I wish it was to me.
#2 Iron Fist 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I’ve been killed by Iron Fist so many times it’s bordering on a situationship. Lin Lie has more muscles than the gym has members, and those arms? Made to lift. The only downside is that a choke slam from him would absolutely delete my health bar. Worth it.
#1 Magneto 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Coming in at number one is Daddy Mutant Supreme. Tall. Powerful. Charismatic. Possibly genocidal. Magneto could choke slam me through four walls and I’d still crawl back asking if he needed anything.
And yes—obviously, Emma Frost is still the true number one, the diamond standard of Marvel choke slams. Everyone else is just fighting for second place.
